We had a fantastic stay at a small hotel in a peaceful and quiet location. The room was clean and larger than expected, with modern amenities and a comfortable bed. The staff was efficient and responsive, answering our questions quickly through text. The self-check-in process was easy, with a phone call to get the door code and a key waiting inside. The hotel provided good wifi and coffee, and the area was close to nearby towns for dinner and meeting with friends the next day.
There was nothing we didn't like.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem in Maine for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. The lodge was nestled off the beaten path, but the blue signs guided me there. The property was right next to an ATV trail, perfect for adventure seekers like me. Additionally, it was conveniently located near Monson and Greenville for hiking opportunities. The lodge itself was a great value, significantly cheaper than staying in Greenville. My room in the motel was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The mini fridge and microwave came in handy, and the beds were extra comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the quiet and relaxing porch with plastic Adirondack chairs. Checking in was unique but easy—I received a key code by email, and although there wasn't an on-site office, there was a phone available outside for any assistance needed. The location was truly in the middle of nature, so it's advisable to bring your own food. this place was excellent and I would happily return for another hiking trip in the future.
Minor drawbacks: Although my stay was mostly positive, it's worth mentioning that check-out time was a bit early at 10:30am. Additionally, the cleaning staff seemed a bit unfriendly when they knocked on my door at exactly 10:30am to inquire about cleaning, despite the room already being empty.

The value for the money was excellent, and the room was clean and modern, comparable to a nice chain hotel. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff, although we didn't see them in person, were efficient and quick to respond to our questions via text.
The morning meal could have been improved with more variety and options.
